Honors the life and legacy of Ms. Stephanie Lee, a Mississippi resident who passed away from Stage 3 colon cancer at age 38.

Acknowledges her resilience through multiple tragedies including the death of her husband Terrance Lee in Iraq in 2005 while she was seven months pregnant, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and the deaths of her grandparents in 2004.

Recognizes her achievements including completing a four-year pipefitter apprenticeship at Ingalls, earning an associate's degree in occupational education, and a degree in drafting and design from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Notes her participation in a cancer genome sequencing study with world-class scientists and her public advocacy about her battle with cancer, featured in CBS television and Esquire magazine.

Expresses deep sympathy to her two daughters, Kamri and Marchelle, and directs that copies be provided to family and the Capitol Press Corps.
