Designates September 28, 2015, as "Marie Atkinson Hull Day" in Mississippi, commemorating the 125th anniversary of the renowned artist's birth on September 28, 1890.

Encourages Mississippi citizens and the state to annually celebrate Hull's life and legacy on September 28 each year thereafter.

Recognizes Hull's significant contributions to art in Mississippi and the South as a prolific painter, teacher, and mentor who inspired hundreds of young artists throughout her career.

Highlights Hull's major artistic achievements including gold medals from the Mississippi Art Association (1920), prizes at national exhibitions including the Texas Wild Flower Painting Competition (1929), and selection of her work for the Paris Spring Salon and 1939 World's Fair.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, Secretary of State, and Capitol Press Corps.
