Mourns the death of former Mississippi House Speaker Timothy Alan (Tim) Ford, who passed away on February 27, 2015.

Commends Ford's legislative career beginning in 1980, his election as Speaker in 1988, and his leadership on economic development, education, gaming, transportation, and election reform initiatives.

Recognizes Ford's national leadership roles including Chair of the Southern Legislative Conference and President of the Southern Speakers Conference, and his receipt of the 2001 William M. Bulger Excellence in State Legislative Leadership Award.

Acknowledges Ford's commitment to legislative integrity, fair stewardship of the legislative process, and appointment of diverse House members to leadership positions.

Directs distribution of the resolution to Ford's surviving family, the University of Mississippi, and other specified institutions and organizations.
