Commends and congratulates Sherry James for being selected as Instructor of the Year at the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Recognizes James as a nursing instructor who has taught at the college for 13 years and holds a bachelor of science in nursing and master of science in nursing education and administration from the University of Mobile, Alabama.

Notes James's service as Nursing Faculty/Staff Development Committee Chair and membership in professional organizations including the Mississippi Nurses Association, Mississippi Organization of Associate Degree Nurses, and Student Nurses Organization.

Acknowledges James's community involvement with Rocky Creek Church of Christ, the American Red Cross, the American Cancer Society, and participation in cancer and heart walks at George Regional Medical Center.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Sherry James and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
