Commends and congratulates Braden Ivey, a 12-year-old martial artist, on being selected as the 2014 State Games of Mississippi Male Athlete of the Year

Recognizes that Ivey became the first athlete in State Games of Mississippi history to win the Male Athlete of the Year award back-to-back in consecutive years

Honors Ivey's achievements including becoming the 18 and Under Overall Grand Champion in Martial Arts at the 2014 State Games, a six-time "13 and Under Grand Champion," and a 2013 WKC World Champion in Melbourne, Australia

Acknowledges Ivey's national and international competition success including bronze medals at the 2014 United States Open and 2014 International Cup, and his representation of the United States at the 2014 Junior Pan American Championships in Lima, Peru

Notes that Ivey trains six days a week at his family's dojo school in Mississippi and maintains an outstanding academic record as a four-time honor roll student who received the Presidential Award for Academics
