Mourns the passing of Dr. David Bradley Ellis, who died on July 25, 2014, at age 94 and served as a physician in Mississippi for 50 years.

Honors Ellis's military service in World War II as a machinist in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the China-Burma-India Theater.

Recognizes Ellis's medical career beginning in 1955 after earning his M.D. from the University of Tennessee Medical School, including practice in Ripley and New Albany.

Acknowledges Ellis's community involvement including service on the New Albany School Board, membership in the American Legion and Mississippi State Medical Association, and his role as a deacon at Cleveland Street Presbyterian Church.

Extends sympathy to Ellis's surviving family including his wife of 66 years, five children, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
