Commends O'Keefe Funeral Homes for celebrating its 150th anniversary on June 5, 2015, recognizing the business as one of the oldest recurring businesses in Mississippi and the United States.

Acknowledges the company's founding in spring 1865 when Edward "Ned" O'Keefe expanded his livery service on Porter Street in Ocean Springs to include funeral and mortuary services.

Recognizes the O'Keefe family's operation of six funeral home locations across the Mississippi Gulf Coast and control of the state's largest funeral insurance business.

Honors the family's philanthropic contributions including donations to needy children, disabled citizens, and the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum in Biloxi and Walter Anderson Museum in Ocean Springs.

Designates June 5, 2015 as "O'Keefe Funeral Homes Day" in Mississippi and directs copies be sent to Jeffrey H. O'Keefe Sr. and the Capitol Press Corps.
