Commends the life and legacy of Mrs. Stephanie Parker-Weaver, a civil rights and human rights activist who passed away on March 24, 2015.

Recognizes her 2002 victory in an eminent domain battle against Nissan on behalf of African-American land owners in Canton, Mississippi.

Honors her founding of Rebirth Alliance, Inc., a nonprofit breast cancer awareness organization focused on women with Her2-positive breast cancer, which she established after her own 2008 diagnosis.

Acknowledges her work as a motivational speaker, author of "Rebirth: A Breast Cancer Journey of Many; Survival of Few," and co-coordinator of the MS Coalition on Black Civic Participation.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Parker-Weaver's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
