Recognizes and commends Mr. John Allen for being named 2014 Rookie Agriculture Teacher of the Year as advisor of Jumpertown High School's Future Farmers of America (FFA) program.

Acknowledges Mr. Allen's exceptional first-year performance as an agriculture educator and his dedication through countless hours of work on nights and weekends.

Recognizes the Jumpertown High School FFA program's successful acquisition of a Food For All competitive grant and community service projects, including planting over 1,500 tomato plants and building raised beds to donate produce to local food pantries and nursing homes.

Commends Mr. Allen's commitment to the FFA mission of developing student leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

Directs that copies of this resolution be provided to Mr. John Allen and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
