Recognizes and commends Mr. Cayce DePoyster for 34 years of exceptional service as an educator in Prentiss County, Mississippi.

DePoyster served as a social studies teacher and basketball coach before becoming principal of Hill's Chapel School for 27 years, where he modernized facilities and equipment.

He earned bachelor, master, and specialist degrees in education and administration from Northeast Mississippi Community College, Mississippi State University, and the University of Mississippi.

After retiring in 1986, DePoyster returned from 1988 to 1992 as Director of Staff Development and Curriculum at the County Office.

Directs distribution of resolution copies to Mr. DePoyster and Capitol Press Corps.
