Bay High School Steppers won the 2014 Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 4A State Dance Championship, securing their sixth consecutive state title.

The team achieved six number one titles in kick competition and five first place finishes in jazz division, the only dance team in Mississippi with such consecutive championship wins in both categories.

All team members qualified as MHSAA Scholar Athletes, demonstrating academic proficiency alongside athletic excellence.

The team is coached by Priscilla Austin (Bay High School Class of 2000) and choreographed by Hope Walley (Bay High School Class of 2009), both school graduates.

House of Representatives commends the Bay High School Steppers and extends wishes for continued success in their academic and athletic endeavors.
