Commends the Tishomingo County High School Braves Cheerleading Team and Coaches Beth James and Chasity Moore for achieving a 17th ranking at the National Universal Cheerleaders Association Competition held at Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Florida on February 13-15, 2015.

Team qualified for nationals by winning the mid-South Regional UCA Competition in the Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling Division in November 2014 and the 2014 Mississippi High School Activities Association State Championship in Small Varsity Non-Tumbling Division II in December 2014.

In the first round of competition with 80 squads, the team advanced to the semi-final round with 31 teams and ultimately placed 17th among 24 competing squads, receiving no deductions during their performances.

Recognizes the 16 squad members (12 juniors and seniors, 2 sophomores, 2 freshmen, and 1 mascot) for their professionalism, self-discipline, and hard work in pursuit of excellence while representing Mississippi.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Tishomingo County High School, the coaches, principal, assistant principal, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
