Highlights Coach Dickerson's role in integrating Lee High School in 1970, where his former Hunt High School players joined the predominantly white school and helped the team achieve an undefeated 9-0 record.

Notes his influence on young athletes, including future Columbus Mayor Robert Smith, and his commitment to mentoring and education both during and after his coaching career.
