Commends the Rock Solid Youth Education Foundation of Waynesboro, Mississippi, for philanthropic efforts toward senior citizens in the community.

Foundation was started by Dan Jones eleven years ago and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on youth development and leadership training.

More than 360 youth have participated in the program with approximately 40 currently active, providing community service estimated at over $100,000.00 in value.

Program pairs youth with senior citizens to provide assistance while enabling older residents to mentor and guide young participants.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to the Rock Solid Youth Education Foundation, Dan Jones, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
