Commends Representative Bobby B. Howell for 24 years of consecutive service in the Mississippi House representing District 46, which includes parts of Attala, Carroll, Grenada, Leflore and Montgomery Counties.

Recognizes Howell's service as Mayor of Kilmichael from 1969-1992, during which he oversaw professional development of fire and police departments, expansion of utilities infrastructure, street paving, establishment of an industrial park, and creation of a Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Acknowledges his legislative accomplishments including service as Vice Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee (2004-2008) promoting economic development and automotive industry recruitment, and as Chairman of the House Medicaid Committee starting in 2012.

Highlights his professional recognition as a pharmacist, including past president of the Mississippi Pharmacy Association, 2000 recipient of the "Bowl of Hygiea" award, and his community involvement in civic organizations and Baptist faith activities.

Extends congratulations and best wishes to Howell upon his retirement from the Mississippi House of Representatives.
