Commends Representative Bennett Malone for 36 years of consecutive service in the Mississippi House of Representatives from District 45 (formerly District 47), representing portions of Leake, Neshoba, Rankin and Scott Counties.

Recognizes Malone's career progression from freshman lawmaker to Chairman of the Investigation of State Offices Committee in 1992 and Chairman of the House Penitentiary (Corrections) Committee from 1996 to 2012.

Acknowledges his service on 13 committee assignments including Agriculture, Appropriations, Education, Gaming, Transportation, Ways and Means, and Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Honors Malone's role in preserving the Mississippi House's institutional integrity during a period of expanding diversity in membership including women, African Americans, and members of both political parties.
