Senate Bill 2113 Summary

• Increases the maximum total workers' compensation recovery from 450 weeks to 520 weeks of average weekly wage multiplied by 66⅔%, excluding medical payments and permanent total disability compensation.

• Removes the 450-week cap on permanent total disability compensation, allowing payments to continue until the employee's death instead of being limited to a maximum amount.

• Updates temporary total disability, temporary partial disability, and death benefit maximum compensation periods from 450 weeks to 520 weeks.

• Effective July 1, 2015.
