Amends Section 19-5-167, Mississippi Code of 1972, to change the appointment authority for the Diamondhead Water and Sewer District board of commissioners.

Board of commissioners shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the governing authority of the City of Diamondhead, with one member appointed from each municipal ward.

Each commissioner serves a five-year term, with vacancies filled by the city's governing authority at regular meetings for the remaining unexpired term.

Previously, board members were appointed by the board of supervisors; this bill transfers that appointment authority to the city government.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
