MS SB2576

Authorizes the Department of Finance and Administration to use the construction manager at-risk method of project delivery for subsequent phases of the Museum of Mississippi History and Mississippi Civil Rights Museum Project.

Requires the department to procure construction management services under Section 31-7-13.2, after which the construction manager procures all resulting construction contracts necessary to complete the project.

Exempts all construction contracts between the manager and contractors from provisions of Section 31-7-13 regarding standard procurement requirements.

Deems the department to have complied with certain notification and approval requirements in Section 31-7-13.2 for purposes of this project.

Takes effect upon passage.
