Division of Medicaid shall design and implement a temporary program providing adult day care assisted living services for individuals age 65 or older, or disabled individuals as defined by federal Social Security Act Section 1614(a)(3).

Eligible individuals must have income not exceeding 135% of the nonfarm official poverty level and resources not exceeding amounts established by the division as of December 31, 2013.

Services may be provided by public or private entities and individuals, including faith-based organizations, with the division reimbursing providers according to mutually agreed upon reimbursement schedules.

Program shall be funded from monies appropriated or otherwise made available to the division and operates as a separate program independent of the Medicaid program.

Act takes effect July 1, 2015.
