Notes the team ranked No. 1 in the nation among Black College football programs in multiple national sports media polls for the 2014 FCS season.

Highlights outstanding individual performances including quarterback John Gibbs Jr. (SWAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year and Championship Game Offensive MVP) and linebacker William Thomas II (Championship Game Defensive MVP).
