Commends Ole Miss cornerback Senquez Golson for being named a consensus and unanimous First Team All-American for the 2014 season.

Golson led the Southeastern Conference with 10 interceptions as a senior, recorded 41 tackles including three for loss, deflected eight passes, and had 15 interceptions over his four-year career.

Named First Team All-American by 13 organizations including Walter Camp, AP, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, and others; first unanimous All-American at Ole Miss since Michael Oher in 2008.

Golson also earned SEC Defensive Player of the Year honors, All-SEC First Team selection, and semifinal/finalist status for multiple national awards including the Jim Thorpe Award and Chuck Bednarik Award.

Directs the resolution be presented to Golson and forwarded to Ole Miss Football Coach Hugh Freeze and Chancellor Dan Jones.
