Mississippi Legislature applies for an Article V constitutional convention to propose an amendment requiring majority approval from state legislatures before the federal debt can be increased.

The convention is limited exclusively to proposing an amendment regarding federal debt approval requirements and cannot address other constitutional matters.

This application continues indefinitely until at least two-thirds of all state legislatures submit equivalent applications for the same limited convention.

Secretary of State must transmit certified copies of this resolution to the U.S. President, Congress leadership, Mississippi's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.
