Recognizes Dr. Rick Young's retirement as President of East Mississippi Community College effective June 30, 2015, after 40 years of service to EMCC.

Credits Dr. Young with leading EMCC to prominence among Mississippi's community colleges, expanding educational capacity throughout the region, and bringing the institution into the national spotlight.

Notes Dr. Young began his career at EMCC as a Marketing Professor and served as Vice President of the Golden Triangle Campus before becoming President in 2004.

Commends Dr. Young's legacy of leadership and dedication to the community college system, and thanks his family for supporting his career in public service.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Dr. Young, his wife Melinda, the EMCC Board of Trustees, and the Community College Board.
