Commends the Hernando High School "Marching Tigers" Band for winning the 2014 Class 6A MHSAA State Marching Band Championship for the first time in school history.

Recognizes the band's performance of "Alpine Crossing" which won First Place over all other 6A schools at the state competition held in Clinton.

Acknowledges the leadership and dedication of Band Director Len Killough, Assistant Band Directors Victoria Jones and Brenon Eaton, school administration, parents, and the broader Hernando community.

Directs that the resolution be presented to the Marching Tigers Band Director and Hernando High School Principal, forwarded to the DeSoto County Board of Education, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
