Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Mississippi Automotive Manufacturers Association and designates March 1-7, 2015, as "Automotive Industry Week" in Mississippi

Recognizes that nearly 200 automotive supplier companies in Mississippi employ more than 40,000 workers and have contributed over $4.1 billion in investments with production of more than 3.4 million vehicles over the past decade

Acknowledges major manufacturers including Nissan North America (first vehicle assembled in 2003) and Toyota Motor Manufacturing (first vehicle produced in 2011), with Toyota exporting over 130,000 units in 2013

Notes Mississippi's manufacturing competitiveness, including ranking No. 6 for Overall Cost of Doing Business and No. 3 for Competitive Labor Cost by Area Development magazine, with 89 international companies and 57 Fortune 500 companies operating in the state

Directs that this resolution be provided to the Mississippi Automotive Manufacturers Association and Mississippi Development Authority
