Commends Station WTVA Chief Meteorologist Matt Laubhan and the WTVA Weather Team for their professional forecasting during the EF4 tornado that struck Tupelo and Central Mississippi on April 28, 2014.

Recognizes Laubhan's credentials, including Emmy Award for Best Weathercaster in the Southeast Region (2013), Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society, and Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Kansas.

Acknowledges that Laubhan was on air during the tornado strike and his reporting helped mobilize volunteers to assist affected areas and residents in North and Central Mississippi.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Matt Laubhan and his family, WTVA Station Manager John Sullivan, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
