Pearl River Community College Wildcats won their 7th MACJC Basketball Championship on February 21, 2015, defeating Holmes Bulldogs 65-54 at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Head Coach Richard Mathis achieved his 9th junior college coaching championship, including previous titles at Northeast Mississippi (1982) and East Mississippi (1978).

PRCC finished the 2014-2015 season with a 23-3 record and was ranked 24th nationally.

The resolution commends the team, coaches, parents, and sponsors and directs the resolution be presented to Coach Mathis and the PRCC Board of Trustees.
