Commends the Starkville High School "Yellow Jackets" boys basketball team and Head Coach Greg Carter for winning the Class 6A State Championship in 2015.

Team defeated Madison Central 43-40 in overtime on March 14, 2015, with Keith Harris making the decisive free throw to secure the victory and the school's first state championship since 2010.

Junior guard Tyson Carter was the key player, contributing 14 points and six rebounds in the championship game.

Resolution recognizes the 14-member roster and Coach Greg Carter for bringing honor to Starkville High School, their community, and the State of Mississippi.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Coach Carter and Principal David Baggett, forwarded to the Starkville Board of Education, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
