Mourns the passing of social justice advocate and civil rights activist Stephanie Parker-Weaver of Jackson, Mississippi, who died March 24, 2015, after battling Graves' disease and breast cancer.

Recognizes Parker-Weaver's advocacy for social justice, immigrants' rights, and workers' rights, and her service as the first Secretary of the Mississippi Chapter of the Southern Leadership Conference.

Acknowledges her successful 2002 legal battle against eminent domain abuse by the State of Mississippi on behalf of black landowners near Canton, Mississippi.

Notes her founding of Rebirth Alliance, Inc. in July 2011, a breast cancer awareness group, and her authorship of an award-winning autobiographical book titled "Rebirth: A Breast Cancer Journey of Many; Survival of Few."

Extends the condolences of the Mississippi Legislature to Parker-Weaver's surviving family and friends, including her husband Cordell Weaver.
