Expands the Mississippi Telephone Solicitation Act to include political phone calls, push polling, and calls soliciting political support in the definition of "telephone solicitation."

Defines "push polling" as a telemarketing technique where calls are made to voters under the guise of polling to disseminate political information designed to influence elections.

Requires consumers who object to receiving political solicitations, push polls, or prohibited political calls to be added to the Public Service Commission's "no-calls" database.

Establishes that political calls are now governed by both Section 23-15-875 and the provisions of the Telephone Solicitation Act.

Effective date: July 1, 2016.
