Removes the permit requirement for transporting wild hogs within Mississippi and prohibits transportation of wild hogs on public roads.

Makes it unlawful to release a wild hog at a location different from where it was caught or trapped.

Violations of wild hog transport restrictions are classified as Class I violations punishable under Section 49-7-141.

Allows wild hogs to be caught or trapped within Mississippi only in accordance with Commission rules and regulations for taking nuisance animals.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
