Adds new subsection (6) to Section 43-13-125 allowing Medicaid recipients to introduce evidence of actual Medicaid payments to prove a collateral source of recovery in lawsuits against third parties.

Amends Section 41-9-119 to clarify that proof of medical bills paid by Medicaid includes evidence of amounts actually paid for satisfied bills and amounts necessary for unsatisfied bills.

Specifies that parties have no affirmative duty to seek reductions in billed charges to which they are not contractually entitled when presenting Medicaid payment evidence.

Effective July 1, 2016.
