Requires county election commissioners to resign at least one (1) year before qualifying to run for another office, rather than simply resigning before qualifying as previously required

Resignation must be hand delivered to the clerk of the chancery court in the county of the supervisor's district where the election commissioner resides

Applies to election commissioners seeking any other office during their four-year term
