Requires limited surety agents to complete 40 classroom hours of prelicensing education approved by the Mississippi Coalition of Limited Sureties before obtaining a professional bail agent, soliciting bail agent, or bail enforcement agent license

Exempts applicants who were licensed under the chapter as of July 1, 2016, and maintained their license in compliance with continuing education requirements from the new prelicensing requirement

Exempts applicants who have met continuing education requirements and been properly licensed within 90 days of submitting a new application from the prelicensing education requirement

Mirrors existing prelicensing requirements already in place for personal surety agents, which require 40 classroom hours approved by the Professional Bail Agents Association of Mississippi, Inc.
