Amends Section 83-11-101 to require uninsured motorist coverage policies include payment for damages from uninsured motor vehicles, including those owned/operated by persons protected by immunity under the Mississippi Tort Claims Act if the insured has exhausted all administrative remedies.

Adds a new subsection (5) to Section 83-11-101 clarifying that uninsured motorist policies must cover damages from motor vehicles defined in Section 83-11-103(c)(vi) and other uninsured motor vehicles.

Adds Section 83-11-103(c)(vi) defining "uninsured motor vehicle" to include vehicles owned or operated by persons with Mississippi Tort Claims Act immunity, provided the insured has exhausted all administrative remedies under that act.

Applies to both bodily injury and property damage uninsured motorist coverage requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
