Amends Mississippi Code Section 71-3-9 to expand exceptions to workers' compensation exclusivity, allowing injured employees to sue employers in certain circumstances beyond the existing exception for unsecured compensation.

Permits injured employees to maintain lawsuits against employers when injury or death results from the employer's willfully and knowingly permitting hazardous conditions that are substantially certain to cause injury or death.

Permits injured employees to maintain lawsuits against employers when injury or death results from the employer's willful and malicious acts with actual intent to injure the employee, defined as the employer's desire to cause the consequences of their acts.

Retains the existing exception allowing lawsuits when injury or death is caused by the willful act of another employee acting in the course of employment and not compensable under workers' compensation law.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
