Amends Mississippi Code Section 71-3-25 to add a new subsection (h) providing workers' compensation death benefits to next-of-kin when no dependents exist.

Establishes that next-of-kin shall receive fifteen percent (15%) of the deceased worker's average wages for each such person when there are no eligible dependents.

Caps the aggregate amount payable to next-of-kin at sixty-six and two-thirds percent (66-2/3%) of the deceased worker's average wages, subject to existing weekly benefit maximums.

Effective date is July 1, 2016.
