Allows the State Board of Funeral Service to issue a funeral directing license to applicants age 50 or older with at least 5 consecutive years of employment at a licensed Mississippi funeral establishment who apply between July 1, 2016 and July 31, 2016.

Waives the standard 24-month resident trainee requirement for applicants meeting the age, experience, and application deadline criteria.

Requires applicants to be currently employed at a licensed funeral establishment in Mississippi and document their previous experience in writing from the establishment's owner or management.

Requires applicants to pay all applicable application and licensing fees set by the board.

Effective July 1, 2016.
