Amends Section 83-11-101 of the Mississippi Code to eliminate the option for named insureds to reject uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage in automobile liability insurance policies.

Removes language allowing policyholders to decline coverage in writing and eliminates the waiver process that previously allowed rejection of uninsured motorist protection.

Maintains existing requirements for uninsured motorist coverage limits to be no less than those set forth in the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Law, with options to increase limits up to bodily injury liability limits.

Also removes provisions governing property damage uninsured motorist coverage rejections, making such coverage mandatory as well.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
