Requires uninsured motorist bodily injury coverage limits to automatically equal bodily injury liability coverage limits for policies issued after July 1, 2016, unless the named insured selects lower limits in writing.

Requires uninsured motorist property damage coverage limits to automatically equal property damage liability coverage limits for policies issued after July 1, 2016, unless the named insured selects lower limits in writing.

Allows insureds to select lower uninsured motorist coverage limits in writing, but not below the minimum limits required by the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Law.

Permits lower coverage limits selected by an insured to carry forward to renewal policies unless the insured requests higher coverage in writing.

Requires that new applications submitted for renewal, reinstatement, or replacement transactions trigger the automatic equal coverage limits provision as if a new policy were being issued.
