Amends Section 97-5-39 of the Mississippi Code to add two new criminal acts to the contributing to the delinquency of a minor statute.

Makes it a misdemeanor for any person who knowingly causes a child to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Law, punishable by up to $1,000 fine and/or up to one year in jail.

Makes it a misdemeanor for any person who knowingly causes a child to participate in gang or gang-related activities, with the same penalties as drug law violations.

Effective July 1, 2016.
