Allows insureds with auto liability policies covering one or more vehicles to elect single-limit, nonstacking uninsured motorist coverage for all vehicles on the policy instead of per-vehicle coverage.

Requires single uninsured motorist coverage limits to be no less than the liability limits required under Mississippi Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Law for one vehicle combined.

Provides only one single limit of uninsured motorist coverage per accident regardless of how many vehicles are listed on the policy, though this coverage may be stacked with uninsured motorist coverage from other policies.

Requires insurers to provide Department of Insurance-approved forms informing the named insured or applicant of the stacking limitation and obtaining their signed acknowledgment before issuing single-limit, nonstacking coverage.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
