Appropriates $3,500,313.00 from special funds to the Mississippi Board of Nursing for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017)

Authorizes 37 permanent full-time positions for the board with no part-time or time-limited positions

Allocates $500,000.00 specifically to the Office of Nursing Workforce to administer nursing education curriculum and promote educational infrastructure between nursing practice and education

Restricts Personal Services spending in fiscal year 2018 to not exceed fiscal year 2017 levels unless new programs or positions are added by the Legislature

Requires the board to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format as fiscal year 2016 and submit future budget requests in comparable detail
