Appropriates $2,309,935.00 from the State General Fund for the State Oil and Gas Board for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017)

Authorizes 33 permanent full-time positions for the agency

Requires the State Personnel Board to ensure that fiscal year 2018 personal services funding does not exceed fiscal year 2017 levels unless new programs or positions are added by the legislature

Permits the State Oil and Gas Board to receive and expend up to $200,000 from non-general fund sources for the Comprehensive Data Management Program

Requires the agency to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as fiscal year 2016, and to submit fiscal year 2018 budget requests in comparable format
