Appropriates $23,355,452 from the State General Fund for salaries, travel expenses, tort claims assessments, and office expenses for district attorneys, assistant district attorneys, and criminal investigators for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017)

Appropriates $2,094,726 from the State Prosecutor Compensation Fund specifically for assistant district attorney salaries

Allocates $1,234,000 for district attorney office expenses and funds one full-time legal assistant position in the Sixth Circuit Court District

Prohibits reimbursement for taxable meals incurred by district attorneys or staff within their geographical district

Requires district attorneys to maintain complete accounting and personnel records and submit Five-Year Strategic Plans as mandated by state law
