Appropriates $6,783,610 from the General Fund and $875,093 from special funds for the Mississippi State Supreme Court for fiscal year 2017 (70 full-time permanent positions authorized).

Appropriates $24,197,697 from the General Fund and $5,565,119 from special funds for special judges, chancellors, and circuit judges, with $8,720,000 allocated for support staff capped at $80,000 per judge annually (109 full-time permanent positions authorized).

Appropriates $12,937,855 from the General Fund and $25,591,398 from special funds for the Administrative Office of Courts, including $150,000 for a Drug Treatment Court Program in Hinds County and $4,100,000 for the Drug Court Program (27 full-time permanent positions authorized).

Appropriates $4,633,290 from the General Fund and $998,731 from special funds for the Court of Appeals (58 full-time permanent positions authorized).

Appropriates $144,282 for continuing legal education programs (2 full-time permanent positions) and $338,493 for the Board of Bar Admissions (3 full-time permanent positions), with additional funding for the Youth Court Support Fund ($1,875,000) and transfers to the State Public Defender ($1,000,000) and Judicial Performance Commission ($50,000).
