Authorizes county boards of supervisors to allow county departments to use county vehicles and road equipment without requiring cost reimbursement between departments.

Permits boards to transfer vehicles or road equipment between county departments for a nominal fee or without reimbursement if determined to be in the best interest of county taxpayers.

Requires boards to document any decisions regarding inter-departmental use or transfer of vehicles and road equipment in their official minutes, including the duration of such use.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
