Commissioner of Public Safety authorized to enter written agreements with licensed insurance companies to monitor driver records and provide monthly reports of changes to drivers' records.

Monthly monitoring reports shall only indicate whether a traffic violation was posted to the driver's record within the most recent month, without identifying specific violations or details.

Insurance companies may only use driver monitoring reports for reinsurance purposes for current policyholders; other driver record requests must follow existing procedures under Section 63-15-71.

Commissioner authorized to charge between 12 cents and 19 cents per month for each driver record monitored, with revenues deposited into the Department of Public Safety Administrative Fund.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2016.
