Requires the Department of Corrections to provide remedial classes to offenders at Walnut Grove Correctional Facility who fail any subject in the Adult Basic Education program until they pass the failed subject area.

Mandates the Department of Corrections Education Department provide additional classes in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to offenders who have obtained a high school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.

Maintains existing requirements for the facility to provide continuing education leading to a high school diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and vocational education programs.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
